In more than three decades’ training Bill Thurlow has yet to race a horse at Matamata, but that’s about to change with two stable members entered for the eastern Waikato venue’s biggest ever race meeting on Saturday.
“I think he’s got a future. We’ll go race-by-race with him for now, we haven’t set anything for him yet, but I think there’ll be a nice race in him somewhere.”
