The Radiant One finished third in last year’s Listed Daphne Bannan Memorial Great Easter Stakes (1400m) and trainer Robert Dennis is keen to try and go two places better with his mare in this year’s edition at Riccarton on ANZAC Day.

Local trainer Robert Dennis won half of the eight-race card at Ascot Park on Friday, culminating with a special win by Sir Sterling in the Vale Tony Dennis (1400m).

A Group Three test is in the offing for Group Two performer Saint Bathans, who has transferred south to the care of Ascot Park trainer Robert Dennis.
