Southland mare Tomasina bounced back to winning form at Riccarton on Saturday when taking out the Greenwood Amberley Cup (1400m) in the hands of the country’s leading apprentice jockey Amber Riddell.
Riverton trainers Graham Eade and Brooke Kincaid are excited to get their stable star Riviera Rebel back on a Heavy track when they head to Wingatui on Sunday for the AB Lime & Hyde Landscaping Wairio Cup (2200m).
“He doesn’t mind a heavy track. He’s not very big, but he’s quite strong and he has got that will to win. Having topweight is the biggest concern though."
