A two-pronged tilt at the Gr.2 James and Annie Sarten Memorial (1400m) at Te Rapa on Monday is set to headline a busy weekend for the newest trainer inducted into New Zealand’s 1000-win club.
“All things considered, I didn’t think it was a bad run at all. I liked the fact that she didn’t throw it away. She kept coming and was doing some of her best work at the line.”
Andrew Forsman always intended to aim Positivity at Saturday’s Gr.3 Bart Cummings (2500m) at Flemington, but the Cambridge trainer has been caught off guard by what his rising star stayer has already achieved this spring.
“She’s come a long way since she came over in the autumn. She’s acclimatised and she’s been thriving since she’s been over here. She’s been loving it."
