New Zealand-bred multiple Group One winner Mr Brightside will kick-off his spring preparation when he heads to Caulfield on Saturday to contest the Gr.1 Memsie Stakes (1400m).
“It is the first time he has had a single draw for a long time so if he jumps well, it will take the luck out of it and I’d say Zac (Purton, jockey) will be thrilled."
“For him to continue and keep winning - that's his ninth Group One victory - and he's also won an All-Star Mile and that's a Group One now so you could technically say 10.”
