“I believe that in the two years it takes to get these horses to this stage that we have not left any stone unturned, and it’s a draft we’re very proud of and of the successes we’ve had.”
Saturday is shaping up to be an exciting afternoon for Waikato Stud, whose colours will be carried by key Group One contenders on both sides of the Tasman.
“He’s a lovely horse to have around and it’s quite enjoyable. We used to win a lot of races once and now to win one or two is quite rewarding just to fiddle around and have something nice to deal with.”
