Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott believe their Group One-winning filly Molly Bloom is in peak condition for one final flourish for their Matamata stable in Saturday’s Gr.1 Queensland Oaks (2200m) at Eagle Farm.
“This is a great result for the owners. They’ve been very patient with him and they’ve got the reward today. For a young colt to beat older horses the way he did was fantastic."
“It’s probably fair to say that he’s no oil painting, but he tries very hard and that’s a big part of the battle. It’s not easy to win four races in a row."
