Stakes-performed filly Miss Ziggy will take a big step down in class at Riccarton on Saturday and attempt to shed her maiden tag in the Speight’s Summit Ultra On Tap Maiden (1400m).
Andrew Carston is excited about the prospects of his Riccarton barn this spring, and he will kick-off the preparation of one his leading chances this weekend.
“I gave his first-up run a pass mark, but I really wanted to see a performance like this from him today. Very happy with that, and now we’ll go home and have a think about what we do next.”
