Leading thoroughbred nursery Rich Hill Stud has enjoyed a strong run of success this season, which was further enhanced at Ellerslie on Saturday when Lupo Solitario took out the Gr.3 Easter Handicap (1600m).
Rich Hill Stud celebrated Group One success on both sides of the Tasman on Saturday, highlighted by homebred and raced mare She’s A Dealer giving farm principal John Thompson his first elite-level win as an owner.
“The Rich Hill Mile is also part of the series so it’s a really good fit for us and we’re obviously keen to continue our support for Entain and New Zealand racing.”
“Her Majesty The Queen was our patron for 32 years, and her love of the thoroughbred is widely known. To be able to have the patronage passed on to His Majesty I think is wonderful, we are very honoured.”
