Riccarton mare Bella Luce was victorious in Sunday’s Crombie & Price LTD Oamaru Cup (1600m), and now trainer Lance Robinson is hoping he can attain valuable black-type with the rising eight-year-old.
Iron Hawk will go for three wins on the trot when he heads to Riccarton on Saturday where he will have his first tilt at stakes level in New Zealand in the Listed Daphne Bannan Memorial Great Easter Stakes (1400m).
Southern raider Alottago ran home well to finish third in his North Island debut in the Gr.2 Wellington Guineas (1600m) at Trentham last Saturday, and trainer Lance Robinson is looking forward to stepping him up over further ground this weekend.
