Nearly a decade after taking up the mantle as private trainer to Cambridge Stud owners Sir Brendan & Jo Lady Lindsay, Lance Noble has delivered results that he hopes to embellish at one of New Zealand racing’s biggest events, Boxing Day at Ellerslie.

Trainers Mark Walker and Sam Bergerson are hoping a return to the right-handed way of going will help Qali Al Farrasha bounce back to winning form at Ellerslie on Boxing Day.

“I thought she’d been rolled then, we were sure we’d run second, but gosh, she’s a good horse isn’t she?"

“He will fly out today (Monday). Hopefully everything goes to plan on Thursday. I think he can be right there.”

“But she has done her usual and tried really hard to the line all the way through and I really can’t fault the performance.”

"He is very honest and is a good galloper so I can’t see any reason why he can’t handle the step up."

Quality mare Polly Grey will be given the opportunity to boost her future broodmare value and attain millionaire status during a brief homecoming.
