Memories of the mighty mare Ethereal continue to be rekindled and most recently by the emergence of her gifted grandson Pericles.

Cambridge trainer Andrew Forsman has a big opinion of two-year-old filly Ethereal Star, who finished second in Saturday’s Listed Doubletree by Hilton Karaka Million 2YO (1200m) behind impressive winner Tokyo Tycoon.

A sizeable investment by the connections of Ethereal Star will be handsomely rewarded if the well-related filly continues her winning form on Saturday.

The winning roll by runners from the Andrew Forsman stable continued at Pukekohe on Saturday.
