Unbeaten hurdler Billy Boy will make his debut over the bigger fences at Te Aroha on Sunday, with a view on returning to the track for a lucrative feature early in the new season.
“He’s quite a relaxed horse, he always gave me the impression that he’d go over a trip and he’s been doing a bit of jumping as well, which he’s enjoyed.”
“I was really happy with him, he’s been jumping for a very long time so as far as a first starter over jumps goes, he’s probably a lot more experienced than most."
