Leading New Zealand apprentice jockey Amber Riddell got her first taste of Australian racing in Brisbane this week when competing in Australia’s National Apprentice Race Series (NARS), and she is eager for more.
In just her second season in the professional jockey ranks, Amber Riddell brought up her 100th win at Hawera on Friday, and she was rapt to achieve the milestone so early in her career.
New Zealand’s apprentice jockey ranks went from strength-to-strength last term, and the standout performers were recently recognised at the Northern, Central Districts and South Island Apprentice Awards.
