The Wyndham Racing Club has one day of racing a season at Gore in March. The club, formed about 1891, has been racing at Gore since 2018 (also in 2007 and 2008) after racing at Ascot Park in 2014 and 2017 and previously at Wyndham. The club held two permits until 1999-2000 season and for many years raced on January 1 or thereabouts, the same day as the Waikouaiti RC. >
